There’s no music quite as timeless as the blues. It’s a musical torch that many have carried, including Swedish blues rockers Captain Crimson. They released their album Remind in October and today they’re streaming a new music video for “Love Street.”
Like Captain Crimson’s music, the music video is simple but effective. It shows the band rocking out from a variety of angles. “Love Street” is riff-driven and, like all good rock songs, has a nice solo in it. If Captain Crimson looks like they’re having fun in the video, it’s because they are, they say.
“’Love Street’ is the third track on our new record, Remind. It was the last track that got written and it’s also the shortest one on the record. But it shows off everything that Captain Crimson is all about! It’s got a heavy blues rock feeling with a groovy rhythm section, big chorus, a ripping guitar solo and bluesy vocals. In the video we try to capture the raw live feeling we had when we recorded the album and how much fun we have while playing together as Captain Crimson!”
Remind was released on October 14 through Small Stone Records. You can pick it up here.
