Video Premiere: Vaulted – “Left In Despair”

Team Decibel has been happily hyping New England metallic hardcore bruisers Vaulted for the past two years now. The band burst onto the scene in 2019 with Asylum Memoirs, a three-track ripper of an EP that will barely prepare you for the sonic onslaught of Left In Despair, the band’s second effort, now confirmed for November release. And this afternoon we’re happy to re-board the Northeast Regional hype train via the premiere of the video for Left In Despair‘s title track.

“We wrote and recorded Left In Despair in January 2020, just before the pandemic,” the band tells Decibel. “Little did we know, we spoke this song and the new album’s subject matter into existence with what transpired only a month or so later. Now in 2021, feelings of isolation, desertion and uncontrollable abandonment run rampant and still no one can truly understand where we stand in the timeline of human existence.”

Vaulted will independently release Left In Despair digitally with a cassette version to see release through bassist Nicholas Wolf’s War Fever Recordings on November 19. Find preorders at Bandcamp HERE and the War Fever store HERE.
