Decibel is saddened to the report the passing of Eric Wagner due to COVID-19-related complications. The legendary doom metal vocalist was recently hospitalized with COVID pneumonia. Wagner’s oldest son, Luke, revealed the former Trouble and the Skull frontman’s death on the the Skull’s Facebook post about the signer’s admission into the hospital last week.
Decibel sends our sincerest condolences to Luke, Eric’s entire family, his current and former bandmates and everyone in the metal community who has been impacted by landmark albums like The Skull and the Decibel Hall of Fame-inducted Trouble (aka Psalm 9). May you have found the light, Eric.
