
It’s been 25 years since ex-Cathedral members Adam Lehan and Mark Ramsay Wharton appeared on a release together; Cathedral’s 1994 EP Statik Majik (released in the U.S. as Cosmic Requiem, which was actually came out exactly 25 years ago today). Anyway, let’s just say it’s been a while since we heard these dudes jam together. Thankfully, they’re resurfaced in a scathing new doom band Workshed, and are about to release their self-titled, Jaime ‘Gomez’ Arellano-recorded debut through ex-Catherdral frontman’s legendary Rise Above Records, natch. And we’ve got the first single “Safety Behaviours” for you with the below, which Lehan prefaces with the following: “Darkness, hatred of oneself and desperation… Enjoy.”
