Video Premiere: Axioma – “Sacred Killing Machine”

Cleveland post-black metal blasters Axioma — featuring Keelhaul bassist/vocalist Aaron Dallison — will deliver their full-length debut, Crown, through Translation Loss on June 28. But Decibel couldn’t wait that long to share a new track from Crown via the video for “Sacred Killing Machine,” which, honestly is so fucking disturbing in black and white, you should be thankful it wasn’t shot in full color.

“‘Sacred Killing Machine’ deals with the vast array of moral and control based tools religions, governments utilize to indoctrinate and mold their adherents,” guitarist J Meyers tells Decibel. “A grand creation of rituals and machinery to subjugate and control through faith-based deceptions like organized religion. A beautifully complex parasitic relationship, which will eventually reduce us all, the video touches upon these topics through dark symbolism and macabre portrayals. No peace will come from a God of fear – welcome to the ‘Sacred Killing Machine'”
