No, this is not an album stream for a mis-2000s metalcore band. Sorry to disappoint. This is an album stream for blackened doom/sludge outfit Praise the Plague, who hail from Germany and will release their debut, Antagonist, this month. Though the band are young, they are already adept at infusing their black metal-tainted sludge with ominous leads, which keeps the thick, chugging guitars from becoming repetitious. Combine that with low fidelity, ’90s black metal style production and throat-shredding screams and you’ll end up with Antagonist.
