Swedish outfit Blood of Serpents have made a radical shift on their new album, Sulphur Sovereign. Abandoning the death/thrash sounds of their first album, the Swedes have embraced a more melodic black metal tone, issuing “Devil’s Tongue,” the first single from Sulphur Sovereign, as a statement of intent.
“‘Devil’s Tongue’ channels the Pre-Enochian black magicks lost in times long past,” Blood of Serpents state. “The arcane language of hell is at the smoldering heart of this blistering track. Let the words burn bright as a beacon of insolence!”
