Polish synthwave act Moloch (not to be confused with the Ukranian black metal project of the same name) is a case study in the relationship between synthwave and metal. On new album The Other Side, Moloch infuses bright synths with extreme metal guitar riffs, creating a refreshing sound that marries two different sounds incredibly well.
