This week the annual Philadelphia Tattoo Arts Convention, the world’s largest tattoo convention, will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a pair of death metal themed after-parties hosted at the Trocadero. Night one is set to be headlined by Baltimore Death/Thrash stalwarts Noisem and night two will feature Virginia weed-themed death metal outfit Cannabis Corpse.
Cannabis Corpse will also be using live footage from the performance as well as footage taken from the convention floor to feature in an upcoming music video for their song “In Dank Purity” off of last year’s release Left Hand Pass. The video is set to screen at the Philadelphia premiere of Loyd Kaufman’s Return to Return to Nuke ‘em High on March 1st at the Trocadero.
