Dyscarnate unleashed their first album in five years, titled With All Their Might, in the fall of 2017. It contained a well-balanced mixture of brutality, grooves and even slower songs, like “Nothing Seems Right.” Already a powerful track, the band’s brand new music video for the song fleshes that out further.
The video was created by Dark Tranquility guitarist Niklas Sundin and focuses in on the theme of isolation. In one scene, a person standing on a floating rock structure falls to his knees while the structure falls apart beneath him; in another, the figure is left alone to push a boulder up a mountain.
“‘Nothing Seems Right’ is a voyage into the depths of utter, cosmic nothingness and we feel like Niklas did an excellent job of capturing that with this music video,” Dyscarnate tell Decibel.
