Detroit noise rockers Child Bite are in the middle of a brief run of tour dates with Housecore labelmates Superjoint while also preparing to bring the noise with Unsane in December, but they’re still putting out new music. The group have a new split with Minneapolis’ STNNNG coming out on Forge Again Records, so Decibel is streaming new Child Bite tune “The Will to Disappear” now.
““The idea of a Child Bite / STNNNG split has been bouncing around since ‘07…” guitarist/vocalist Shawn Knight says. “10 years later we finally made it happen. We were between Child Bite tours earlier this year, going over our options for local studios to bust out a couple tunes in, and remembered Wes Borland. He moved to Detroit recently and has been coming out to shows. We reached out about doing these tunes with him and he was into it! The recording was quick, fun and Wes contributed some great ideas.”
The track was recorded with Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland; stream it below.
