Transcendental Canadian duo (that’s our kind of genre!) the Visit is comprised of cellist Raphael Weinroth-Browne (Musk Ox, Woods of Ypres session) and vocalist Heather Sita Black. New album Through Darkness Into Light is five tracks of epic, haunting melancholia and, damn, people, take a second away from losing your shit over Star Wars to enjoy this subtle, pretty, very much non-metal slice of darkness. The album’s out now, and can be picked up digitally here.
