Haikus for Hakius
A statement from Om:
“Om is continuing forward with a new drummer and working on a new recording. Please check the band’s website and MySpace page for updates. A live vinyl-only LP, Om–Live at Jerusalem, will be forthcoming. This is Chris Hakius’ final release with the group.”
Suffice it to say, we at Decibel can think of no better way to honor Chris Hakius’ time in Om than with haikus.
Doom standards too low

I thought you guys liked
those Om records. Decibel
gave them good reviews.
February 6th, 2008 at 5:03 pm
Who gives a rats if decibel like them? Will be interesting to see where Om go from here.
February 7th, 2008 at 4:53 pm
pshh, decibel magazine, what do they know.
all they see is corporate dollar signs.
i wouldn’t be surprised if they start
hyping up the new metallica or linkin park.
granted om isn’t everybody’s taste,
and maybe thats a good thing,
but trash talking is really in poor taste.
no matter how ‘indie’ a magazine is.
