I have never really been into television shows. I mean, I used to watch X-Files back in the day, and I love Metalocalypse, but most prime time television is crap. Lawyer crap, doctor crap, cop crap. However, I've found myself over the past year being ravenous about the following shows, catching up on all seasons back to back (it's nice not having to wait week to week, or even after a season cliffhanger, for the next episode).

Lost
Dexter
Battlestar Galactica
Heroes
Deadwood

I was so happy and productive the 5 years I didn't have a TV, or at least cable. I have seriously fallen off the horse.

Lost, most HBO and Showtime originals (a week or two til Dexta'!) and enough House Hunters on HGTV to damage more brain cells than regular drugs ever could.

Anyone watched True Blood on HBO yet? I've heard nary a thing about it, but will catch up if it's worth it.

I enjoy watching all the crime shows on cable.

First 48
Cold Case Files
City Confidential
Forensic Files

Basically anything with Bill Curtis narrating and I'm sold. What can I say? I've committed enough crime, hung out with enough criminals, it fascinates me. Anyone want to commit some crime tonight?

Saw the pilot and it was ok. But caught the first episode last week and I'm of the opinion that it's worth it for the title credits alone. It's a bit cheesy, but I'm quite liking it.

Currently getting into The Fringe which is looking a bit X-fileseque consipiracyish, majorly addicted to The Shield now that it's started up again. Cannot wait for It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia to start again. Also maybe watching a bit too much Mythbusters.

Fringe has been pretty fun so far, True Blood is pretty unimpressive though. Hopefully the return of Heroes will make up for the lackluster writing that scourged season two. All of these shows pale in comparison to Battlestar though, I can't wait for the second half of the last season.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia was filming in front of the office not too long ago. I see them around town from time to time. I want to give DeVito a copy of Decibel, goddamnit.

FX shows are good, Burn Notice is pretty cool, other than that it's Mystery Science Theatre 3000 episodes on DVD for me.

American, Lieutenant: Special Forces Unit "Black Light". Two Purple Hearts, Leningrad and Siberia. Youngest man to be decorated by the President. Then you robbed the Federal Reserve Depository... life sentence, New York maximum security penitentary. I'm about to kick your ass out of *the world*, war hero...

Relocation Relocation - two brits running around selling idyllic properties to other brits - the most hypnotic voices on tv for me these days - although bill curtis does havea tone to his voice, im sunk if i hear it, then i hafve to watch -

Battlestar Gallactica when it was on - what a great show
first 48 - always fascinating when they do a show using the detectives from memphis i think with the african american lady who always looks as though she is ready to go dancing instead of detecting - how does she get any work done with those nails
i would watch anthony bourdain if i could ever find it
dont watch much really - but i watch while i eat lunch, lately its CSI reruns

Fringe is awesome so far, and if the little hint the doctor gives in the pilot of inexplicable things occurring in the world (a plane flies somewhere emitting a high frequency noise and shortly after an earthquake rocks the same area killing thousands) is meant to be foreshadowing things to come, then indeed we may have a very cool show that combines x-files, csi, and regenesis. (Regenesis is an awesome canadian show about diseases and bio-terrorism and the end of the world that you should all check out if you've never seen it).

True blood - I like it. It's quirky, it's unique, it manages to do something a little different with vampires, who are old hat these days. I like the nod to the anne rice stereotype, with him cutting his wrist to feed the girl, but then they purposfully draw back and do something different with it, almost to say "yeah, we know what you expect, and it ain't gonna happen". It's also very funny. And yes, the title sequence is worth price of admission alone.

Don't watch too many live action tv shows, these come to mind:

House (I'm fucking addicted to this one. Hugh Laurie is fucking brilliant!!!)
Entourage
Real Time with Bill Maher
Scrubs (Haven't watched in a while, but randomly I'll watch it)
Law & Order (Again, randomly I'll watch it)

What I really am though is a cartoon addict. I still enjoy a lot of old Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network shows I used to watch when I was younger (or not even younger), like Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, Courage the Cowardly Dog & Dexter's Laboratory. Of course I watch a pretty much most of the adult theme cartoons out there like South Park, Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, American Dad, Venture Brothers, Metalocalypse & Robot Chicken.

Plus, I like a few good quality Anime shows, but I haven't watched anything new in that department in a while.

I'll probably watch Lost if it comes back, House & Heroes definitely...

Mostly the only TV I watch is (And I expect plenty of deserved laughs) All My Children and One Life To Live.

OK< you don't actually watch them, right? You turn the sound off and play CDs over them and then do a whole MST3K thing where you make up the dialogue yourself right?

Only reasons to watch soap operas ever - fantasize about Zenon (aka Kirsten Storms), Kelly Monaco and Kari Wuhrer

The bald, tribal tatted vampire kind of sunk it for me. The attempt to avoid cliches is wrapped in a bunch of them so far, I thought the idea was to be about your average everyday people vampires and not silly goth douchebags in Nola vampires. I'll keep watching, but the acting sucks so far, and since when do jock-redneck guys listen to bands on Relapse records??? The title sequence isn't bad, but it could do without the dead stuff which makes it resemble the title sequence from Se7en or NIN's Closer a wee bit too much. The song fits pretty great though, and the old stock footage is fun...just can the cheesy rotting animals.

See, I liked the bald freakoid vampire. He creeped me out. I think that they should have shown episode 1 and 2 as a single 2 hour pilot, personally. The acting seems totally fine to me, though. Maybe it's just because Ana Paquin has given me wood since X-Men. Hell, since Almost Famous.

I miss Buffy.
I've always been interested in the comic continuation, but I've never bought a comic book in my life.
