Now that we’ve just squeaked past the Judeo-Christian holiday season, it’s time to resume our regularly scheduled blasphemies and blood feasting. In the interest of not fucking around in any way whatsoever, today we bring your attention to Rochester, NY horror activists Malformed. Their skull-stabbing death metal should sour all eggnog and extinguish all but the blackest of candles in short order. The rampaging quintet recently released their first full-length, called Awakening the Ancient Hunger, which should sate your own appetite for pounding rhythms, scathing riffs and grotesque lyrics. As we stare into another 365 days of disappointment, shredded hopes and battered psyches, what better way to spend the last week of 2014?
