Even the grimmest of us enjoy an occasional birthday wish. That’s where Dark & Somber Greetings come in. As you can see above, various Trve cards have been created to cheer up your corpse-painted brethren or tell them to go back to hell where they once rose from into the darkest forests of Norway. Or maybe they just live in Maine.
The cards are reasonably priced for even the cheapest disciple of the dark lord and while I’m skeptical of most black metal humor, I have to admit these cards are pretty much as perfect as you could ask for. I mean seriously, Happy Birthday written in an unreadable font? How did it take someone so long to come up with that brilliant idea? Though I’m sure these are the kinds of cards Abbath Doom Occulta has been giving Demonaz Doom Occulta for years. So what other black metal cards would you like to see? Get Well and Sorry for Your Loss seem perfect fodder. And I will keep my devil horns crossed that there’s a special one up for Mother’s Day.
