According to local news sources, former Pyrexia vocalist Eric Shute has been arrested in connection with the shooting deaths of three men in rural West Virginia yesterday night. The men, named Jack Douglas, Travis Bartley, and Willie Bartley, were shot with a .223 caliber rifle. A fourth man, whose name has yet to be released, escaped uninjured.
Also according to local news sources, Shute described the situation as robbery, and the shooting as self-defense via his Facebook page. Reports describe the situation as more akin to an ambush, and further details include previous complaints towards, and disputes regarding, the men.
Following the incident, Shute fled via his pickup truck, where he was eventually caught after an eight-hour manhunt.
