Reissue Alert: Sadokist say a "Darkness Prayer"

For six years, beginning in 2008, Sadokist gathered their strength, releasing splits and demos, letting their grimy black-thrash spread like an undead pestilence through the underground. Then in 2014, the Finnish outfit released their debut full length, Thy Saviour’s Halo, Held by Horns . . . on cassette. Now, almost two years to the date, Sweden’s Blood Harvest is set to reissue this modern obscurity.

In an effort to reap these Finns the attention and souls that they deserve, as well as constantly working to put new spells against righteousness and purity in your ears, we’re streaming the ultimate banger from . . . Held by Horns: an unholy number by the name of “Darkness Prayer.” Cancel your plans for the rest of the week because you’re about to get possessed by pure evil.

But first here’s what Sadist Stalker, the band's drummer/vocalist, has to say about “Darkness Prayer.”

Sadokist, an abstraction standing for Sadomasochism... since 2007, influenced by the very best black- and heavy metal acts of the 80’s/90’s, a true metal statement against all trends. The musick’s all about riffs and sickening in-depth lyrics... unique sonic chaos of pure cold impurity, yet rocking as shit, for the first time on Vinyl. You should try out ‘Evil Sado Fuckin’ Speed Metal of Death’ . . . or not.

Get the reissue of Thy Saviour’s Halo, Held by Horns on 12" vinyl on December 22nd, 2016, exclusively from Blood Harvest.
