Pinkish Black Precursor the Great Tyrant Says, “Softly, Everyone Dies”

Peter Steele might have taken umbrage with the “Softly” in the title — the man had a knack for bluntness — but we’ll give Pinkish Black predecessor the Great Tyrant a pass. The provocatively named Denton, TX experimental duo got their start under that much more conventionally “metal” moniker, and Relapse is issuing the Great Tyrant’s The Trouble With Being Born for the first time (October 30, same day as Pinkish Black’s new Bottom of the Morning). Preorder the Great Tyrant here, and get a taste of the past, via “Softly, Everyone Dies.” (Tour dates with Zombi after the tuneage.)
