Blood + Drugs: Two Great Tastes That Go Great Together

Remember when Coliseum were a hardcore band? This is not that. This is… think riiiight about the time when they put out House With a Curse five years ago. That kind of vibe. It’s Seattle’s Blood Drugs, who just dropped their s/t debut on Good to Die in April and have a nice scabrous, unpretentious rock ‘n’ roll thing going on here. Get into the “Division” video below, but not before a little background from vocalist/guitarist Kyle Bradford:

“Originally the song was titled ‘Infinite Division.’ Lyrically, it’s about coming to understand what ‘forever’ really means and dealing with how terrifying that is. The video we shot in the freight elevator of Café Pettirosso in Seattle, a building that used to be a car dealership way back — they’d use the elevator to move cars from floor to floor. The concept was to film with the elevator constantly moving downward, deep, deep down into the pits of Hell to see who or what is waiting down there on the other side of infinity.”
