Metal has long been a global phenomenon, but we don’t get a lot of it from North Africa. Carthagods are the exception. Their self-titled album came out on German label Hands of Blue back in June, and features cameos from Tim “Ripper” Owens, Bumblefoot and Mark Jansen of Epica. “A Last Sigh,” streaming below, features the latter, a result of Epica’s first international show in Tunisia back in 2006.
