DECIBLOG EXCLUSVE: Decrepit Birth's Polarity cover art revealed

We have a Deci-boner for California's Decrepit Birth. They're cool dudes. They write brutal, technical death. And they have a Dan Seagrave (Entombed, Morbid Angel, Pestilence) cover, proudly and exclusively displayed above. In fact, we're not the only ones stoked (and smoked) about new Decrepit Birth material. We're pretty sure CKY's Deron Miller is excited, too. He did, after all, place ...And Time Begins on his Top 10 Death Metal Albums Of All Time list.

Check out what guitarist and note-nerd Matt Sotelo had to say about the Seagrave cover: "Dan's art fits the overall theme of the album perfectly. We had approached Dan with some ideas at a show of ours he attended. It was really cool to finally meet Dan in person and get the chance to explain to him some of our song themes as well as ideas for the new album cover. We could tell that he was excited to help us on this one! The cover depicts images of ancient energies and balance, which is something that is personal for us, and perfectly reflects our abstract lyrical and musical style. Dan's art is so unmistakable!"

If you haven't already, definitely check out Decrepit Birth's two studio reports (here and here). They're rad.

The tracklisting for Polarity is:
1. (A Departure of the Sun) Ignite the Tesla Coil
2. Metatron
3. The Resonance
4. Polarity
5. Solar Impulse
6. Mirroring Dimensions
7. A Brief Odyssey in Time
8. The Quickening of Time
9. Sea of Memories
10. Symbiosis
11. Darkness Embrace
12. * See Through Dreams (bonus track, mailorder edition)

** Decrepit Birth's Polarity hits stores on July 27, 2010 on Nuclear Blast Records.

Damn these guys better be on the cover soon...
