Deiphago aren’t for casual metal fans. They’re for extreme metal exhibitionists forever fascinated by the delicate balance between controlled chaos and crap. This particular Southeast Asian bestial black metal trio has 20 years of extreme under their many bulleted accessories, and though Filipino Antichrist is only their second proper full-length among a discography of limited demos and splits, I’m pretty sure it’s the closest thing to what Hell actually sounds like. —Liz Brenner
