No one should ever have to apologize for their music taste, metal types included. I myself probably will never sit down with a Samothrace record, for example. But I do have a soft spot for screamo/metalcore bands, dating back to the first From Autumn to Ashes record and continuing through modern types like Bring Me the Horizon. Hardcore tempos, scream-sing vocal interplay, songs about girls and suicide? Sign me up!
