ABACABB
Survivalist
Alright, brothers: A cat ate Bryan’s breakfast | Sumerian
A quick www.urbandictionary.com search yields the information that ABACABB is “the code that would let you have blood in Mortal Kombat,” the above deck being the best I could come up with before Google set me on the right path. Previously I’d thought it was some kind of dyslexic take on Captain Ahab, and that what we’d have here would be yet another Isis-styled ocean-themed band, a theory that Survivalist’s 10-minute instrumental closer “Isolation” does indeed—if but only very partially—confirm. Another clue that proved to be a red herring was that these Virginians are labelmates with stunning sci-fi tech-death metallers the Faceless.
