My New Year’s Eve was heavier than yours. With more burly, bearded dudes. Make that burly, bearded dudes with thick-rimmed glasses. No, not a nerd bear party—though there probably was one somewhere else in San Francisco. Neurosis played; and when Neurosis plays, you go. They have families and jobs, and they hardly tour now.
